  16. I have a Flyer 4000 hooked to an AVEC flight recorder case with 2 4-gig
  17. drives for video and one 345 meg drive for audio.  I was doing great with .94
  18. software until I got tempted into installing 4.03.  I brought in the same NEC
  19. 3Xi CD-ROM drive that I used to install .94 software.  I hooked it up to the
  20. C2 cable at the end of the SCSI chain, disconnected the audio drive on the
  21. same chain, made sure the NEC CD-ROM drive was terminated and set to SCSI id
  22. 6.  Checked all the cables a dozen times, reinstalled the card, called NewTek
  23. support (hah!) etc.  Still no go.  I had cleared off the old software
  24. thinking that a clean install was a good idea.  Duh!  When the install
  25. program got to the point of asking for me to insert ther Flyer 4.0 CD, the
  26. system just waits and asks me to retry or cancel.  No amount of retry will
  27. help.  The damn CD-ROM is no longer recognized nor is any other device on the
  28. Flyer SCSI device driver.  (I checked with Inquire SCSI.)  All the cables are
  29. hooked up, the device drivers are in the DOSDrivers drawer in the Devs
  30. drawer, including CD6.  I am baffled beyond any comprehension.  I took the
  31. drive back home and stuck it back in my Pentium.  It is working fine, set to
  32. SCSI id 6.  Anybody run into similar problems?
